FREE

John 8:32 (NKJV) 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

The truth is not hard to come by, we need only listen to that voice God so graciously placed within us, the conscience. The trouble with the conscience is the will must follow, and be obedient to the truth. We find ourselves wrestling with God's gift to man, don't we know that the flesh wants control above all else. Tell the flesh no and the truth will be revealed, you will indeed be free! God's Word says, so.

Father, thank you for Your Son and the precious gift of eternal life. Thank you that your truth makes me free.

HIS GRACE

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) 9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
Paul has felt the tossing and turning ocean of painful circumstances, afflictions beyond his control and cries naturally to God the Father for relief. The answer comes flooding in God is all we need!
Do we really have a sense of what Jesus meant to this dear brother in Christ. Our Heavenly Father promises to be everything we need and more. Our weakness is God's opportunity to show abounding love and compassion. No circumstance can keep God's love chained or at bay, He is always there.
Friend have you let God into every area of your life, unless He has complete access there will be no relationship.

Father help my unbelief, that I might trust when there seems to be no hope, listen when the noise is overwhelming, to be still when all else is hurry. Amen

TRUTH

Proverbs 8:7 (NKJV) 7 For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
A little boy had taken his daddy's pocket knife, outside to show his friends. While admiring the old knife it was accidentally broken. The little fellow was afraid of what his dad might do and hid the knife. When dad realized the knife was missing he asked his young son if he had seen the knife, "no I don't know where it is he lied." The boy tossed and turned trying to sleep but finally ran to his dad crying, "I broke your best knife daddy!" His father pulled him into his arms and said, "I knew you would tell me the truth, its ok, that knife was already broken, I was going to throw it away.
Friend have you taken God's time and thrown it away, are you tossing and turning because you have not been truthful with God, if you run to Him, He will run to you.
Heavenly Father, thank you that you love me and you long for me to be truthful.

CONSCIENCE

Acts 5:4 (NKJV) 4 ...Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God."
Jesus is interested in some very peculiar people. He always points to the heart, that is the seat of who we are. God gives us a conscience that insists we do right and choose to do right. However God also provided us with a heart the place where we make the decision, deliberately choose, to obey the conscience or our desires.
Friend the truth this verse reveals is, "what we are in the dark, that is really who we are!" We must ask ourselves, "who am I, does God have all of me?"

Father thank you for the gift of life, may my life be a pleasing aroma through your Son, Jesus. Amen

CHOOSING

Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

God created man in His own image, that man might desire fellowship with his maker. He endowed man with intellect, a conscience, and the ability to choose to serve his Creator or self. Choice is something we are aware of very early in life, decisions are made on a moment by moment basis, based on our ability to satisfy longings.

Recently, I heard this statement," I am a crack addict, I have been clean for over a year, but every time someone says the word crack or I let myself think about it, my mouth salivates!"

I wonder friend what do you salivate for, is it Christ or the things of this world?

Father, will you give us the thirst for righteousness that draws us ever closer to You. Amen!
