Genesis 6:9 ... Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
Noah walked alone in a generation that denied God access to their lives. The referenced verse states Noah was found to be righteous (just) and blameless (perfect). This man lived a Holy life pleasing to God and we are told the reason, "Noah WALKED with God." In reading this text, the conclusion must be no one else walked with God, there was not found one other family unit that would identify themselves with God. The question begs an answer, how did Noah walk with God? He deliberately spent time seeking his maker, Noah searched for spiritual understanding, this man Noah knocked where God lived and his legacy says, Noah walked with God. Lk. 11:9
Will this be your epitaph, will those who remember us say we were servants who loved the Most High God? Only if we have trusted every fiber of our being to the Lord Jesus Christ, anything less is unholy.
Heavenly Father may we be found searching, seeking and knocking for your Presence, in all our ways everyday. May we hunger and thirst for righteousness, may our desire be to walk with you daily. Amen
