EACH ONE

1 Corinthians 3:13 (NKJV) 13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.
    A little fellow was too quiet, found in the bathroom, toothpaste all over the mirror, talcum powder, on the counter and floor, shaving cream on his entire body, he said, "I am not here!" Maybe not as obvious as the little one, all we do is a picture of what God has clearly stated, "Each ones work will become clear." What thoughts have invaded your mind, what have you acted on, what circumstances have caused you to react, in a way that is not right with man or God?
    Friend, we All are going to face God, the Light of Life will be turned on every human being, what the Light reveals is the basis for judgment to come. The Day is upon us, who we are, must stand up to the test of the Creator, are you sure you have trusted everything to Jesus?
Heavenly Father, may the Light of Truth reveal anything we have not let You shine your light on? May all our thoughts clearly confirm we are yours, may every breath confirm that You have first place in our lives? Amen

REVEALED

Luke 2:26 (NKJV) 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 

   Our walk with God is the revelation of His work in us, He longs to reveal to His servants things to come. Like the man who first tests the relationship to see if she will really become his wife, he then plans on that relationship and asks her to share a life together. Visions of family and a forever relationship draw the two closer together until the day of their union in marriage.

  God has planned for our eternity with Him, the things in this life cannot compare to what is coming. He offers the dearest relationship He has, a personal walk with His Son in this world that we might experience the beginning of a forever union in the future. Have you prepared for the day of His appearing, like a wedding are you anticipating His soon presence, are all the preparations complete?

Heavenly Father help us to prepare for your appearance, help us to ready ourselves for the day, may we work diligently until You bring Peace to all who trust in You. Amen

YOUR EYES

Deuteronomy 11:7 (NKJV) 7 but your eyes have seen every great act of the LORD which He did.
    God is doing miracles as He did in the days of old, to let the sun shine on this generation of people without the call to judgment is a miracle. Every new day is amazing, to take one more breath is a precious gift, to have the heart beat one more time is truly a miracle, why?
    We live in a day when God must surely call man to account, massive abuse of power world wide, the threat of destruction in every nation, the moral bankruptcy of every land and the lawless leading the charge of self righteousness. We know God must act, "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near" Luke 21:20 (NKJV) one small nation awaits the coming as well, everything hinges on Israel. Are you looking up, you must, our redemption's near.
Heavenly Father help us to look to You and not on the things around us, help us find our faith in your plans and not the worlds ideas. May we worship the King of Glory and not the foolishness of men. AMEN

TO GIVE LIGHT

Luke 1:79 (NKJV) 79 To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace."
   The Lord Jesus has purchased for you and I the Way of Peace, it comes at a great price, far more than we can afford. The offering of Peace comes from plans that were laid before the foundation of the world, it has built into the blueprint, the most detailed account of life for the one who will receive Christ as Lord and Savior. The building of Peace will contain the Light of Life and darkness will no longer have a place. Death has no grip on the believer, and Peace has become the rule of the House, Life is now Eternal and lived in the Presence of God who dwells with His people. How?
   But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10 (NKJV)
Heavenly Father may all our days be spent in looking to You, for the "Way of Peace."Amen

THE MEEK

Psalms 37:11 (NKJV) 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 
   The Lord quotes this verse in the sermon on the mount, Matthew 5:5, someone has stated, "meekness is strength under God's control." David is credited for composing this psalm, a man of war finds meekness both appealing and rewarding. We read in Matthew 21:12, that Jesus drove money changers out of the temple, the same zeal that drove David to cleans the land of evil, is the same zeal predicted of our Lord for cleansing the house of God.
   A day for those who love the Lord God with all their heart is coming, an eternity of peace, a place of rest. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me," John 14:6, there is no other way. Come to the One, who delivers everyone through His sacrifice, and you too will experience meekness, God's Way.
Heavenly Father, we look to You, may all we see encourage us to follow the One who in meekness died for our sins. Draw us oh God to your side that we may worship in Your Truth. Amen

LOVE THE LORD

Deuteronomy 6:5 (NKJV) 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
    The heart that has received forgiveness from Jesus Christ, is given the Gift desired by all people. With the presence of the Savior in the life of the believer, comes the desire to know every detail about the One who Loves unceasingly, shows Mercy that is undeserved and applies Grace to the forgiven soul.
   A child behaving badly in the grocery store was scolded by his mother, he asked "Mommy do still love me?" The answer is yes and more, why, because the love for what God has entrusted to us, that precious life is the reason for discipline.
   God scolds us because He loves, not because He can, He disciplines to teach us our need of moral virtue, He corrects to prove His great mercy. Are you feeling pressure to do right today, know that you must love Him with all your heart soul and strength, He loved you just like that!
Heavenly Father, in You alone is our life, there is no other, may we trust You entirely with every breath. Amen

YOUR SALVATION

Genesis 49:18 I have waited for your salvation, O Lord!
   In our hurry for the day God is often left out, a mother rushing to work looked behind her see how her child was doing, she hit the brakes in horror, she had left the baby at home. Fear is a motivation for action, however our fear is seldom in response to our need for communion with God. Stop today spend time with Him and He will provide your salvation.
Heavenly Father we look up and see You are waiting on us, thank you for your Love, Patience, and Mercy. Amen

THEY WENT OUT

Mark 16:20 (NKJV) 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them ...
     The mark of a person or who they are is evidenced by what they do. A little boy had cowboy boots and a hat on, someone asked, Who are you, "I'm superman," he replied. Many are wearing what they believe is christian attire but they look entirely different to the observer.
     Heavenly Father help us to see as You see, help us to recognize what is not pleasing to You. Amen

CANNOT BE MOVED

Proverbs 12:3 (NKJV) 3 A man is not established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous cannot be moved.
    God has a definitive right and wrong for His creation, He clearly sets the example of the righteous, over the plans of the foolish. Wickedness in God's kingdom will not prosper or find its way into Eternity, the God of all Holiness and Righteousness, will not permit one stain of sin to enter His plans for the ones He calls His chosen. John 15:16
    The chosen of God will bear fruit and they will exhibit righteous living, that means fleeing from sin and avoiding any appearance of evil.
How do you live today, how do others see you, what in the life you live is bearing the fruit of Righteousness?
Heavenly Father the lives of all people are yours, may we each accept our roles as those called out to obey. May every breath exalt You, may every thought be captive to your Will. Amen

NOT WHAT I WILL

Mark 14:36 (NKJV)36 ... nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."
   The will is a powerful tool, installed by God for us to use as we choose. The child often says, "I want that," or, "That's mine," adults are no different, we set our will on an object or purpose and pursue until we see that it is obtained.
   The Lord set His will on obedience, He desired only what His Father prepared. Jesus prayed, "Not what I will, but what You will," our Savior set the example for us to imitate and follow. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. John 10:27 (NKJV) to know Jesus we must determine we will follow Him regardless of the cost.
Heavenly Father I have chosen to follow You, lead me Lord where You please, help me to walk just as You walked. Amen

BY TRICKERY

Mark 14:1 (NKJV) 1 ... And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by trickery and put Him to death. 
  The desire to put Jesus to death is one that every human being must deal with, the Savior clearly says, "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders," Mark 7:21 (NKJV) 21, in the heart of man is every kind of evil.
   Knowing God sees and acknowledges what we are capable of, isn't it completely amazing that He would be willing to die for us, to bring a lost soul back into His Love? People often ask, "Why would God even care," He cares because we are a part of Him, like a father would care about His own children.
If you will trust His death today with your life, you will be eternally grateful.
Heavenly Father may all You do for us, be received with grateful thanks, by our living entirely for You. Amen

AT ALL TIMES

Psalms 34:1 (NKJV) ... I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
   A child was singing while playing with rocks outside, her mother asked, "Why," the child replied, "I don't know why I am happy, its just what I do."
    Very few people are joyful in their daily activities, the drudgery of life has caught most and the joy of living is missing. In Numbers 1, the Israelites have been daily walking with God, they find themselves faced with gross immorality, rather than fleeing from sin they embrace it and many die in judgment. What happened, why did they choose sin, the heart that acknowledges God, but does not daily seek Him will fail.
    Commit today to spend time with The Creator, determine now that you will not let sin pull you away from Him, make a way to spend time with God. You too will find yourself joyful and praising Him.
Heavenly Father let us sing of your Mercy, let us exalt your Name, may we bless You in all we do. Amen

UNLESS THE LORD

Mark 13:20 (NKJV) 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
    A man in prison spoke recently, "I can't take this anymore, not one more day," that was two months ago. Today he is still in prison but with as different attitude.
    Judgment is coming on all mankind, Jesus clearly described the days to come to His disciples, "Unless the days are shortened no flesh would be saved." God's wrath is coming it is promised and yet man continues on the same course, ship wreck is certain unless his course is changed.
    Our God is not without provision He has made a way of escape for all, however no one will get through unless we accept the offer of redemption. How, it is in Jesus alone, Acts 4:12 that name and no other will provide the way of escape. Won't you trust Him today, He truly is the Only Way.
Heavenly Father, may we see You in all the ways you lead, may every thing You want to do in us be accomplished. Amen

YOU ARE NOT FAR

Mark 12:34 (NKJV) 34 ... He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God."
   Two men were pitching horse shoes, one placed the shoe squarely on target, the other missed only slightly, the one who missed said, "I almost made it," the other replied, It doesn't matter you either got it or you don't!"
   The kingdom of God is close, however, you either have Jesus or you do not. We may know all of the doctrines of the bible, and still not know the Author, we may live the entire theology of the Word, and have no relationship with the Savior.
    Jesus is not a good teacher, He is not a good person, neither is He great at living a Godly life, He is God. He came at the appointed time that we might receive in our selves His Life. Many stumbled at His teaching of the scriptures because, He exposed men to the Truth, their ideas were removed and God presented the Word clearly and concisely to flesh that wants to go its own way.
    What have you chosen today, your way or His, you too may not be far from the kingdom of God.
Heavenly Father may we carefully listen to You, may we with abandon seek You, may we with all our hearts trust You. Amen

HIDING PLACE

Psalms 32:7 (NKJV) 7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
   During the The German occupation Jews were herded and slaughtered, because of their heritage, they are the children of Jehovah, the only True God. Corrie ten Boom was a young girl of that time and she writes of the amazing work of God sparing Jews during the horror, as they hid these people in their own home.
   As children of God we are called to do great things for our Creator, like servants who love to do the masters will, we are following the mandates of the One we adore. When we surrender to His Way, there is a desire to please the Father like no other. We will risk life and health to fulfill the task God lays on our hearts. He indeed is our hiding place, when the world seems too hostile to continue He becomes the Sanctuary.
  What is troubling you today, what has you ham strung, what is keeping you from accomplishing the Will of the Father? Trust in Him and He will hide you from trouble, He will surround you with songs of deliverance.
Heavenly Father in You alone we find Peace, in You alone we find Rest, in You there is Comfort from all our trials, blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen

WHOSE SIN IS COVERED

Psalms 32:1 (NKJV) 1 ... Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
   Many years ago I listened as Michael Guido told of a lady in Africa who was listening to the Evangelist witness about Jesus. Hearing his testimony she jumped up and proclaimed He is the One I have been seeing in my dreams and I did not know who He was, He said, "He could make me clean," now I am free!
    No matter where we are, the One who came to set man right with God, is the One who makes me clean by forgiving my sin and covering me completely in His Love. Jesus is the One who blesses us with salvation, by redeeming us to the Creator. Has He forgiven you, has He covered your sins, He will if you trust Him with ALL your heart.
Heavenly Father let every thought become captive to your will for our lives. May we trust You in every way we go, may we always look to You and no other. Amen

BEING SECURE

Proverbs 11:15 (NKJV) 15 He who is surety for a stranger will suffer, But one who hates being surety is secure.
    The issues of standing in the gap for another are obvious, we cannot know the mind, will or intentions of others. To say, "I will make sure that person, does this or that," is the position of not counting the costs and it usually will cost us much.
    However, for God it is a completely different story, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV) Our God willingly stands in the gap for us, knowing He has given the choice to do right entirely into our hands.
    God is being surety for us today, He knows the cost, have you trusted Him entirely with your life? Only God can afford the awful price of my sins!
Heavenly Father in You alone there is no other, we live and breath and have life. Help us to live this life for You, that we may please You. Amen

IS IT LAWFUL

Mark 10:2-3 (NKJV) 2 The Pharisees came and asked Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?" testing Him. 3 And He answered and said to them, "What did Moses command you?" 
    Recently someone cried, "Thats against the law," when a Bible was read, how convenient to use man made laws to avoid the conviction of God's Holy Word. Man has a moral compass, that tool we call a conscience, is the internal instrument of God's grace that keeps us seeking Him. We can and do hinder the work of the conscience in our lives by deliberately ignoring and suppressing its affects on our spirit.
    Jesus is questioned about the choices of men to get rid of inconveniences in our lives, the Creator reminds us, that is not the will of God. "What God has joined together, let not man separate." Mark 10:9 (NKJV) The Giver of life has a plan marriage is part of that plan, anything in this life worth doing has difficulty built in, thats what makes us mature and grow more like Christ.
Is it lawful, only if God says it is.
Heavenly Father help us to look carefully at your Word, help us to discern your Will, keep us in The Way. May we always look to you and forget the will of men. Amen

SEASONED WITH FIRE

Mark 9:49 (NKJV) 49 "For everyone will be seasoned with fire, ...
  A young lady wept recently, "Why does everything happen to me," serious mistakes in her life were related to poor decisions.
   The disciples are having a quiet discussion with Jesus, He the Master has insisted that anyone coming to Christ must come with the heart of a little child. A statement by John prompted the verse above, there are many who speak of Jesus some good some bad, some for eternal reward and others for personal gain. However our Lord reminds all who will hear, everyone will be tried or tested in their relationship with God. Struggles in this life help us to grow both Spiritually and physically, we do not live here without some difficulty, is this the reason Jesus pointed to fire, maybe, but the altar of sacrifice was surely on His mind.
   We are to be "a living sacrifice," Romans 12:1, for the Christian this is clear, the life lived for God has struggles, however the struggle produces the Spirit of service God longs for.
   Are you being seasoned with fire?
Heavenly Father the evidence of your work in our lives is a humble spirit, Lord help us to be to those around us what pleases You. Amen

PRESENT WITH POWER

Mark 9:1 (NKJV) 1 And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power." 
   A child was sitting by the door to the house just looking, his mother asked, "What are you waiting for," he answered, "Jesus," "Why are you waiting on Jesus, honey," "The teacher said He was coming and we should be ready."
   The Lord did say, "Be ready, for we do not know the hour," but there is little readiness today, most are doing business as usual from the very beginning of the world. The soul that is waiting on the Savior is waiting with each breath, with each beat of the heart.
    In this verse Jesus told the disciples about the meeting to come in the presence of God, they were not ready, He told them of His death, they were not ready, He told of His resurrection, they were not ready, He has warned us, "No man knows the day or the hour,"but be ready. When the last soul receives Jesus, the Father will sound the trumpet, are you ready?
    I believe we will not experience death until we see "The kingdom of God present with power."
Heavenly Father come quickly we need You. Amen

INTEGRITY

Proverbs 11:3 (NKJV) 3 The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.
   Abram hears the voice of God and clearly submits to His will, God says to Abram, leave what you know and follow Me. The patriarch of the group is now Abram and He leads with a Presence not his own for God Himself, directs the travelers. As they enter the land they will live in, the nephew Lot chooses the best of the best for his living quarters, and soon finds life without Abram is very dangerous.
  Abram whom God renames Abraham, (meaning father of a multitude) has no children, Abraham believes God and the story tells us "Abraham is credited for righteousness." Genesis 15:6
   Lot knows of God, Lot knows about God, but Lot chooses to live among the most evil of people on the earth. Genesis 13:13 "The integrity of the upright guides one, the perversity of the unfaithful destroys another, this mans testimony and his family as well."
    How is your life today?

IN HIS TEMPLE

Psalms 29:9 (NKJV) 9... And in His temple everyone says, "Glory!"
   On the days we gather for worship there is anticipation, an excitement, an expectation, that God will reveal Truths that will forever shake our knowledge of the Holy One. The worshipper comes with worship in his heart, he comes ready to hear the Word of the Lord, he comes in awe of The God of creation, in unison we lift Holy hands to God and declare, "Glory!"
    Oh that God's people would catch the vision, oh that His servants would stand for the Call, oh that the saints of All Mighty God would shout in unison, "You alone are God." Then with The Majesty on high we would forever rejoice in His Presence.
    However, people are not inclined to worship as God intended, they will only do what their neighbor is doing, chasing worldly dreams is all the glory many will experience. When will everyone say, "Glory?"
Heavenly Father help us to see, help us to live, help us to breath, You. May all our worship today find the Joy, You intend, may we discover You fresh as spring rain, may we know You as You expect from your creation?

LISTEN TO ME

Leviticus 26:14 (ESV) 14 “But if you will not listen to me and will not do all these commandments, 
   We often correct our children by saying, "listen to me," when speaking with others, "listen to this," is heard and when we wish to make a point, "can you hear what I am saying," is asked? Much can be said, but who really is listening?
   God has given to us the requirements for His blessings, it is obedience, His Word clearly instructs the one who will abide in Him how to walk, talk and conduct themselves in this world, that is passing away. Can we really excuse anything that is contrary to the life God has called His servants to, the answer is obvious.
The person or nation that will not follow where God leads will suffer consequences that have an eternal impact. He says, "If you will not listen, and do," there is a price to pay. Why not trust Him to day with all your life and discover the blessings He intended.
Heavenly Father help us to live in the shadow of your Presence, help us to look up in spite of our circumstances. May we trust all of your Word and may we boldly proclaim You are God. Amen
